Safety & Third-Party Disclaimer
Draft updated September 1, 2026. This practical launch draft is not a substitute for review by a Connecticut attorney.
Safety comes before completion
A quest is never an instruction to enter an unsafe area, drive unsafely, trespass, ignore weather, or violate a venue rule. Skip or modify any step that does not feel safe.
Driving and walking
Follow traffic laws, use legal parking, and do not interact with the site while operating a vehicle. Use sidewalks and marked crossings where available.
Weather and terrain
Darkness, heat, cold, storms, flooding, ice, trail conditions, construction, and poor visibility can make a normally reasonable stop inappropriate.
Physical activity and alcohol
Choose a level of participation that fits your ability and comfort. SideQuest CT does not require alcohol. Adults who choose to drink are responsible for lawful behavior and must not drive impaired.
Third-party venues
Featured businesses, parks, museums, and attractions are independent third parties unless expressly stated. Inclusion does not imply sponsorship, endorsement, reserved access, or guaranteed availability.
